So this is just barely in time for Illustration Friday (tomorrow is a new theme) but at least I got it there in time!
While Billy's hiding spot was clearly outside the boundaries his parents had designated for their game of Hide & Seek, he was certain he would never be found... and the alligators would make sure of it.
O, help, that's a big punishment for crossing the boundaries! Nice trees and roots/waves! It's like the trees are retreating because of the alligators. Perhaps Billy will notice just in time.

ReplyDeleteEVen coloured, I didn't notice the alligators until I read about them in your post. Great drawing. Not much fun for Billy, though.
